Supporting Company Founders

KWWK provides hands on support to company founders, either before incorporation or in the early stages of the company’s development, to transform an intellectual asset into a successful business.

It is not enough to have great science, or just a patent.  To succeed a business will require many other skills and resources including legal, financial and production expertise, together with staff, premises and marketing.  Assembling these resources, while allowing the founders to retain control of their vision is vital for any young company.

The approach of KWWK is twofold:

  • We start from here.   No company starts with a complete suite of resources.  But the lack of key elements need not be a reason not to start the business.  What is vital is that the company’s founders identify the gaps and have a clear plan to address them.
  • What else, and who else, do we know?  Great technology is almost always the result of collaboration and is used in conjunction with other related technologies.  Understanding this landscape can accelerate routes to market and help refine the company’s commercialisation strategy.
